FIX: "The record ID is incorrect" error when you use DAX to execute query in a dimension in SSAS 2012 or SSAS 2014

Symptoms

Assume that you use Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Analysis Services (SSAS 2012) or SSAS 2014 in multidimensional mode. You use Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) to execute a query, and the query retrieves the member unique name for a parent/child hierarchy in a parent/child dimension. In this situation, the query fails, and you receive the following error message:

Resolution

The issue was first fixed in the following cumulative update of SQL Server.
