Symptoms

Assume that you use Microsoft SQL Server 2016 Analysis Services (SSAS 2016) in Tabular mode in which the Multidimensional Expressions (MDX) or Data Analysis Expressions (DAX) query that you execute contains a query scoped measure that references a global measure. When you execute another MDX or DAX query that references to the same global measure subsequently, the query may fail and you will receive the following error message:

Resolution

This issue is fixed in the following cumulative updates for SQL Server:
