Symptoms
Assume that you have a Windows Forms application that has ReportViewer control in Microsoft SQL Server 2012. The installation of the application fails after you publish it. The error indicates "'PublicKey' attribute" does not match.
Cause
The issue occurs because the certificate to ReportViewer.msi is updated.
Resolution
The issue was first fixed in the following cumulative update of SQL Server. And this hotfix is included in the Microsoft Report Viewer 2012 Runtime, go to Microsoft Download Center to download Microsoft Report Viewer 2012 Runtime.
