FIX: The objects or tasks move to corner when you move or resize them in an SSIS 2012 package

Applies To
SQL Server 2012 Enterprise SQL Server 2012 Developer SQL Server 2012 Standard

Symptoms

Assume that you have a Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Integration Services (SSIS 2012) package. Occasionally when you try to move or resize an object or task within the package, the position of the cursor moves to the upper-left corner of the designer surface (regardless of the original position of the cursor) and sometimes zooms out (size becomes the smallest possible). You would have to scroll to the right side bottom to see the tasks again.

Resolution

The issue was first fixed in the following cumulative update of SQL Server.

Cumulative Update 1 for SQL Server 2012 SP2 /en-us/help/2976982
