KB2995211 - FIX: Incorrect error when you set rotation of chart series label greater than 90 or less than -90 in an SSRS 2012 or 2014 report

Symptoms

Assume that you have a report that has a chart with chart series label in Microsoft SQL Server 2012 Reporting Services (SSRS 2012) or SSRS 2014. When you try to set the Rotation property of chart series label greater than 90 or less than -90, such as 120, you receive the following error message:

Note

Argument value should be in range from 0 to 360 degrees.
Parameter name: value

The error message is not aligned with the correct range of the Rotation value.

Note This issue does not occur when the Rotation value is in range from -90 to 90 degrees.

Resolution

After the hotfix is applied, you can receive the correct error message if you try to configure the Rotation value out of the range from -90 to 90.

The issue was first fixed in the following cumulative update of SQL Server.
