Symptoms

When you query the sys.partitions catalog view in Microsoft SQL Server 2016, the value returned by the rows column doesn't match the actual row count of a columnstore index in SQL Server 2016.

Resolution

The issue was first fixed in the following cumulative update of SQL Server:
