Symptoms

Assume that you use an AlwaysOn Availability Group in an instance of SQL Server 2017 on Linux. Although you configure the failure condition level to Failover or restart on critical server errors, a server restart or failover might be triggered even when the "query_processing error" is returned.

Resolution

This issue is fixed in the following cumulative update for SQL Server:
