Symptoms
You install the January 3, 2017, update (KB3128049) for Microsoft Skype for Business 2016. When you start Skype for Business 2016, blank menu items are displayed, or the client crashes while it's loading.
Resolution
To fix this issue, install the March 14, 2017, update (KB3178656) for Skype for Business 2016.
