HID "flash" command is not ignored during a Teams call in Skype for Business 2016

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

You are running Microsoft Skype for Business 2016.
You have Human Interface Device (HID) interop fully enabled in Skype for Business 2016 and Microsoft Teams.
You try to make or receive a Teams call.
You tap or double-tap the call start button on the supported HID device.

In this situation, Skype for Business 2016 plays a dial tone only.

Resolution

To fix this issue, install the April 7, 2020, update (KB4484286) for Microsoft Skype for Business 2016.
