INTRODUCTION
This article describes that a country-specific update is available to enable you to print references to original invoice numbers and dates in credit notes in Lithuania in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 R2 and in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 SP1.
More Information
The new VAT Act requires organizations to print reference to numbers and dates of original invoices in credit notes and to print a reason for correction in corrective invoices in Lithuania from 2013.
After you install this update, references to original invoice numbers and dates will be printed in credit notes that are created from sales orders and free text invoices (by using the Create credit note function) and from the Project module.
Hotfix information
A supported hotfix is available from Microsoft. However, this hotfix is intended to correct only the problem that is described in this article. Apply this hotfix only to systems that are experiencing this specific problem. This hotfix might receive additional testing. You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply this hotfix.

Validation of the application hotfix installationTo validate the installation of the application hotfix, open the SysHotfixManifest class in the Application Object Tree (AOT). Then, verify that there is a method whose name includes the Knowledge Base (KB) article number of the installed hotfix. Additionally, you can cross-check the affected objects by comparing the KBXXXXXX.txt file against the objects in the AOT. By doing this, you can make sure that the objects are changed correctly in the SYP layer or in the GLP layer.
