Symptoms
When the password exceeds 24 characters in the OLE DB Provider for DB2, the following error message occurs in password validation:

Password validation for user azudbusr failed with rc = -2146500507
Status
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
Resolution
This issue is fixed in the following cumulative update for Host Integration Server:
