Symptoms
The receive location for the BizTalk Adapter for WebSphere MQ (MQSC Adapter) that has the UTF-8 set in the port can't receive large messages. Here are the two message size limits:
- If the MQSC adapter uses the IBM MQ client, the message can't exceed 70 MB.
- If the MQSC adapter uses the Microsoft MQ client, the message can't exceed 95 MB.
Status
Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.
Resolution
This issue is fixed in the following cumulative update for Host Integration Server:
Cumulative Update 5 for Host Integration Server 2016
Cumulative Update 1 for Host Integration Server 2020
