The following are some of the more common issues you can run into when using Intelligent Speakers to automatically identify speakers in your Microsoft Teams meetings.
Note: Intelligent Speakers are only available to customers with Room Premium and Room Standard SKU licenses.

Your meeting has more than 20 invitees. |
In meetings larger than 20 invitees, Intelligent Speakers still provide greater transcription quality but are unable to identify speakers. This is currently the maximum supported meeting size, but we are working to enable larger meetings in the future. |
Intelligent Speakers are unable to identify users. |
Your Microsoft Teams tenant region is unsupported. |
Intelligent Speakers are currently only enabled for the United States, but we are working to enable more countries in the future. |
Intelligent Speakers are unable to identify users. |
Intelligent Speaker in room attribution only works in conference rooms that have a Microsoft Teams room Standard or Premium SKU attached. |
Ask your admin to add a Microsoft Teams room subscription to the room account. |
Intelligent Speakers are unable to identify users in a meeting with multiple tenants. |
Cross-tenant scenario: the person who started the transcription is not from the same tenancy. |
