Create a news feed in Microsoft Teams Free
NewsBytes creates a news feed within Microsoft Teams Free. It automatically posts relevant news articles in group chats. ​​​​​​​
Add NewsBytes to Your Group ChatÂ

In your group chat, select
 icon. -
Choose NewsBytes to add it to your group chat.Â

Review the choices to Pick your interests. This will set your preferred news category to tailor the content to your group's interests. Once selected, move to the topics page. Â

Choose from the list of topics within the category to dial into your specific interests. Select topics with a maximum of three. Then select Next. Â

Review the summary of your selected interest and topics.

Choose if you want your NewsBytes to share your articles daily or weekly. Otherwise, the default is weekly at the time you save the feed.

Select Save. NewsBytes will post its first set of articles from the topics selected and post at the frequency set.
