How to use Deep Research in Copilot
You can use Deep Research by following these steps:
-
Type a prompt into Copilot. Deep Research will benefit from your prompt being as specific as possible.
-
Select the Open (+) icon below your prompt and select “Start deep research” from the drop-down menu.
-
Deep Research will begin to process a response. It may ask one or two follow up questions to ensure it fully understands the scope of your question.
-
Deep Research will take some additional time to consider and respond to your prompt. While it does so, Copilot will share its chain of thought and the sources it is evaluating while preparing a response.
