KB5039660 - FIX: IDocs sent by the WCF-SAP adapter to MBCS SAP systems have the content of data segments shifted if the payload includes multibyte characters

Symptoms

Assume that intermediate documents (IDocs) are sent by the WCF-SAP BizTalk adapter with the .NET Connector (NCo) to a multibyte character set (MBCS) remote SAP system. If some fields of the application data payload (SDATA) include multibyte characters, subsequent fields within the same SDATA content are shifted or truncated on the remote system.

Status

Microsoft has confirmed that this is a problem in the Microsoft products that are listed in the "Applies to" section.

Resolution

This problem is fixed in the following cumulative update for BizTalk Server:
