This article describes issues that occur in Windows 8.1, Windows RT 8.1, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows 8, Windows RT, and Windows Server 2012. An update is available to resolve these issues. Check out the list of issues fixed in this update.

Issues fixed in this update

Issue 1

When you set the input locale to Latvian (Lativa) through Region in Control Panel, you see Latvian Lats text or Lats text when you use Latvian currency in Windows 8.1, Windows RT 8.1, and Windows Server 2012 R2. However, you expect to see Euro text.

Issue 2

You set the input locale to German (Switzerland), Italian (Switzerland), French (Switzerland), or Romansh (Switzerland) through Region in Control Panel on a computer. Additionally, the computer is running Windows 8.1, Windows RT 8.1, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows 8, Windows RT, or Windows Server 2012. In this situation, you notice that the default numeric separator is incorrect.

Resolution

To resolve this issue in Windows 8.1, Windows RT 8.1, or Windows Server 2012 R2, install update rollup 2975719. For more information, click the following article number to view the article in the Microsoft Knowledge Base:
