This article applies to Microsoft Dynamics AX for all regions.
Symptoms
Consider the following scenario in Microsoft Dynamics AX 2009 Service Pack 1:
- You have a sales order that contains several item lines.
- You create a direct delivery for the sales order. Therefore, the system creates the corresponding intercompany purchase order and intercompany sales order.
- You change the unit price of one item line for the intercompany sales order to zero (0).
- You post a packing slip for the intercompany sales order.
- You delete the item line that has zero net amount in the Posting invoice dialog box for the intercompany sales order.
- You post the invoice for the remaining item lines for the intercompany sales order.
In this scenario, the intercompany purchase order and the original sales order are fully invoiced. However, the intercompany purchase order and original sales order should not be fully invoiced.
Cause
This problem occurs because the intercompany does not know that one of the item lines is deleted during posting the invoice. Therefore, it will post the full packing slip even though the sales side posts part of the packing slip.

You must restart the Application Object Server (AOS) service after you apply this hotfix.

Validation of the application hotfix installation
To validate the installation of the application hotfix, open the SysHotfixManifest class in the Application Object Tree (AOT). Then, verify that there is a method whose name includes the Knowledge Base (KB) article number of the installed hotfix. Additionally, you can cross-check the affected objects by comparing the KBXXXXXX.txt file against the objects in the AOT. By doing this, you can make sure that the objects are changed correctly in the SYP layer or in the GLP layer.
