In certain countries, if you purchased a subscription from the Microsoft Store you may be able to cancel and receive a prorated refund.

Tip: If your payment is past-due, you can cancel the subscription immediately. Go to Services, and for the subscription you want to cancel select Manage > Cancel subscription, and then follow the remaining prompts. Once you cancel, you won't be charged for the past-due amount.
