Describe an interactive experience in natural language, and Cowork builds a working app you can use right in the conversation—no coding or setup required. This is useful when you want to use something rather than just read it, such as a calculator, tracker, planner, dashboard, quiz, form, simulator, or simple game.
- Describe the app you want. For example: "Build a tip calculator with split-bill support," or "Create a ten-question quiz from these notes."
- Cowork builds a single, self-contained app and opens it in the conversation so you can start using it right away.
- To make changes, ask Cowork in chat—for example, "Add a dark theme," or "Show the results as a bar chart." Cowork updates the app.
Interactive apps are responsive, so they work on both mobile and desktop.
Important
An interactive app runs in your browser and can leverage local browser storage to save your entries, progress, and settings across sessions. Interactive apps cannot connect to external services or the internet, and they cannot access your files, accounts, or organization data. Clearing your browser data will reset the app.
