As you explore app categories, you may see apps that prompt you to request permission to add them. 

To request approval for an app:

  1. Select Apps  Add an app or tab button in Teams.

  2. Next to the app you want to add, select Request.

Your IT admin will review the request. If approved, you'll receive a notification and be able to add the app.

Filter apps by availability 

You can filter categories or search results in Teams to find apps that require approval (or conversely, are ready to add). 

To filter apps by availability:

  1. Select Apps  Add an app or tab button in Teams.

  2. Choose an app category.

  3. Select Filter  Avatar filter button.

2. In Availability, select Ready to add or Requires approval.
