In the Command Prompt window, type the following command, and press ENTER: sfc /scannow. Warning: Do not close this Command Prompt window until the verification is 100% complete. The sfc /scannow command will scan all protected system files and replace corrupted files with a cached copy.

After you see a message that says "The operation completed successfully," type sfc /scannow (note the space between "sfc" and "/") and press Enter. After you see a message that says, "Verification 100% complete," type exit and press Enter.

Run the sfc /scannow command again until the command completes and reports that there is no corruption. If you still get an error that there is corruption after following the above steps, you should contact technical support for further assistance as your system may have actual corruption.
