Clipchamp for personal accounts

You can use Clipchamp with your personal Microsoft account at app.clipchamp.com or in the Clipchamp app for Windows.

  • Free plan: Includes core editing tools, free stock media, and watermark-free video exports up to 1080p (full HD).
  • Premium features: Features such as 4K exports, premium stock media, premium filters and effects, and the brand kit are available through qualifying Microsoft 365 subscriptions. Included benefits can differ by plan.

Compare current Microsoft 365 Personal, Family, and Premium subscriptions and available monthly or annual prices on Microsoft 365 plans and pricing.

Before buying, check whether your subscription already includes the Clipchamp features you need. If it does, sign in with the personal Microsoft account that has those benefits rather than buying another subscription.

For help buying a new subscription or managing an existing standalone Clipchamp Premium subscription, see How to purchase and manage a Clipchamp personal subscription.

Clipchamp for work and school accounts

Your available features depend on the license assigned to your work or school account and your organization's settings.

  • Clipchamp Standard: Included with selected Microsoft 365 and Office 365 business subscriptions and Microsoft 365 education subscriptions. See Clipchamp license eligibility for the plan list and requirements.
  • Clipchamp Premium: Adds more premium stock media. It's available as an add-on for eligible Microsoft 365 business customers or as a standalone subscription for business customers.
  • Eligible Microsoft 365 Copilot subscriptions: Can also include Clipchamp Premium features. Before you buy a separate add-on, ask your admin to check your assigned benefits.

Clipchamp Standard is also available as a standalone work subscription. Microsoft 365 Business Premium includes Clipchamp Standard. It isn't the same as the Clipchamp Premium add-on.

Note

Clipchamp Premium isn't a Microsoft 365 Copilot license. Video creation with Copilot has separate access requirements, including a Microsoft 365 plan, access to Copilot Chat, and Clipchamp enabled by your organization. See How to create video with Copilot.

Feature comparison

Premium features differ between the personal and work or school versions. For example, Clipchamp Standard for work or school accounts includes 4K exports and brand kits, but they're premium features in the personal version.
