Sign in to SharePoint. SharePoint is a browser-based app that you connect to through your web browser, like so: Go to office.com, and sign in to your work or school account. In the upper left corner of the window, select the app launcher > All apps > SharePoint.

Select File Explorer from the taskbar, or press the Windows logo key + E. Under Quick access, select Downloads. Note: If necessary, go to the View tab, select Navigation pane, and ensure that Navigation pane is checked. You can also find your Downloads folder under This PC.

If you need to view one of these sites, you can use Internet Explorer Mode in Microsoft Edge. Most sites work better on modern browsers. Support for Internet Explorer ended on June 15, 2022. We recommend only using Internet Explorer mode within Microsoft Edge only when necessary.

Microsoft Edge has an improved way to copy and paste paste web URLs from the address bar into your content. This feature copies and pastes a URL as a hyperlinked title instead of as a web address.

Some types of files, like JPEG images, are already highly compressed. If you zip several JPEG pictures into a folder, the total size of the folder will be about the same as the original collection of pictures. Combine several files into a single compressed folder to save storage space or to share them more easily.
