SharePoint is a browser-based app that you connect to through your web browser, like so: Go to office.com, and sign in to your work or school account. In the upper left corner of the window, select the app launcher > All apps > SharePoint.

For guidance on how to locate the Apps button to access add-ins while reading or composing a mail item, see Use an add-in in Outlook. In the Apps page, search for the add-in you want from the available list. Alternatively, if you're after a specific add-in, enter its name in the search box.

Install the new app. When prompted, give permission to install Quick Assist. After it's installed, the button will change from. Use the Office offline installer to install Office 2016 or Office 2013 if you don't have an active Internet connection or you're having problems with slow speed or unreliable connections.
