Sending a message. If you haven't already set up messages, do the following: On your PC, in the Phone Link, select Messages. To start a new conversation, select New message. Enter the name or phone number of a contact. Select the person you want to send a message to.

Message recall is available after you select Send and is available only if both you and the recipient have a Microsoft 365 or Microsoft Exchange email account in the same organization. Messages sent to or from a Hotmail, Gmail, or live.com account can't be recalled.

If you can't sign in to your Outlook.com, Hotmail, Live, or MSN email account, or you're not sure how to sign in or sign out, here are some solutions.

Add a new Gmail account. On the View tab, select View settings. Select Accounts > Email accounts. From the email accounts pane, you can now select the option to Add account, Manage an existing account. Select Add Account, then in the Suggested account dropdown, add the Gmail account you want to add, and select Continue.

Block or unblock senders in Outlook. You can block messages from specific email addresses or domains from reaching your inbox. When you add an email address or domain to your blocked senders list, Outlook automatically moves messages from that sender to the Junk Email folder.
