In the Translate to dropdown, choose the language you want the page translated into. The default is the language you've set for Microsoft Edge. To translate the page, click Translate. To always automatically translate from the source language, select the Always translate from [Language] check box.

Translate part of an email message. To translate just a bit of text from a message, select that text and right-click. Outlook will show you the translation right there in the context menu that appears. You can also select text and right-click to translate to your preferred language when you're composing an email.

Translate text into a different language. Excel for Microsoft 365 Word for Microsoft 365 More... Windows macOS Web. The Translate feature is currently available for Word, Excel, OneNote, Outlook, and PowerPoint. Note: The procedures for Outlook for the web are the same as the procedures for the new Outlook for Windows.

Translate a message in Microsoft Teams. If you receive a message in another language on your desktop PC, select More options > Translate at the top of the message. This will show a translation of the message into the language that you've set for Teams. Your default target translation language will be the same as your Teams app language.

Select General, then select Translation settings. Choose what you'd like to customize: Spoken language - Choose the language you would like your messages, calls and subtitles to be translated to. You can change this at any time or set it back to Device language.

The Mini Translator is only available in OneNote, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word. If you are a Microsoft 365 subscriber, you will have the translate text into a different language feature to translate text and documents, in place of the Mini Translator feature.

If you don't want Outlook to translate certain languages, or if you want Outlook to never translate messages, you can change your translation settings. Notes: Outlook will translate messages only if conversation view is turned on. To turn on conversation view, go to the View tab.

In Microsoft Teams (free), you have the option to: Translate an individual message in communities, chats, and groups. Translate all messages into a specific language on your mobile device. View Supported languages.

Open an English language article, and then right-click anywhere in the text of the article. Click Translate with Bing or Translate with Live Search. You receive a page that resembles the following in the Bing Translator. You may select another language by clicking Translate on the Language menu.
