In Microsoft Teams (free), you can translate messages in a variety of languages. By default, messages will be translated into the UI language. If you change the default language in your settings, the messages you select for translation will be translated into that language.
In Microsoft Teams (free), you have the option to:
Translate an individual message in communities, chats, and groups
If you receive a message in another language:

On mobile: tap and hold the message, then tap Translate.

On desktop: right-click the message, then select Translate.
To return a translated message to the original language, tap and hold or right-click the message, then select See original (language) or See original message.
Translate all messages into a specific language on your mobile device
Note: Translating all messages only applies to chats and groups in Microsoft Teams (free) on mobile. You can only translate individual messages in Communities.

Select your profile picture, then select Settings .

Select Translation.

You'll have the following options:

Translate messages into this language - Choose which language(s) you would like your messages to be translated to.

How to handle messages in other languages - Select which option you prefer:

Auto-translate all messages - all incoming messages will translate into your preferred language.

Ask me before translating - messages in languages that aren't on your Never translate list will have suggestions to translate.

Never translate - you won't be prompted to translate a message, but you can still translate individual messages with tap and hold.

Never translate - Choose which language(s) you don't want translated. You will be able to choose more languages from Add a new language.
