Locate your product key for Windows 10 or Windows 11. Depending on how you got your copy of Windows 10 or Windows 11, you'll need either a 25-character product key or a digital license to activate it.

Select Start > Settings > Windows Update > Check for updates and then install any available updates. If the problems aren't all resolved, try running the troubleshooter again to check for additional errors, or see Fix Windows Update errors and follow the troubleshooting steps.

Sign in to the Advanced security options page of your Microsoft Account. Sign in. Select Add a new way to sign in or verify then choose how you would like to receive security codes. Note: VOIP numbers cannot be added as a way to sign in or get verification codes.

Windows 10. If you can’t connect to an Xbox multiplayer game on Windows 10, go to Settings > Gaming > Xbox Networking. Look for NAT Type. If the status says Teredo is unable to qualify, it means your PC is unable to obtain a Teredo IP address. Windows 11.
