Redeem a gift card or code to your Microsoft account
Both Microsoft and Xbox gift cards and download codes work in the same way: once redeemed to your Microsoft account, you can spend your balance at Microsoft Store online, on Windows or Xbox, and you can get downlaods for the latest apps, games, movies, TV shows, and Surface, Xbox, and accessories.
Note: You cannot buy a Microsoft 365 subscription with a gift card.

To redeem a Microsoft gift card, Xbox download code or token, select Redeem code below, sign in, and enter or paste the code or token value.
Tip: If you're signed in with the wrong account, select sign out first.
How to redeem an Office product key

Sign in to Office.com/setup with your Microsoft account.

Enter the 25-character code, and then select Next. Don’t worry about hyphens, the system takes care of those for you.

Open the Microsoft Store app below.

Select your personal icon at the top of the app and then select Redeem code or gift cards.
