How do I change my password in GroupMe?

Important

If you sign in to GroupMe using your Microsoft account, you need to change your password in your Microsoft account. If you sign in to GroupMe with your Apple ID, you will need to change your Apple password. If you sign in to GroupMe with Facebook, you will need to change your Facebook password.

  1. Open your GroupMe app.
  2. Select your profile picture, select Contacts  Contacts button in GroupMe .
  3. Tap the Edit profile button, then tap Change password.
  4. Type your current password, then type a new password. It must contain at least 6 characters.
  5. Type your new password again to confirm the change.
  6. Tap Change Password.
