Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You install Microsoft BizTalk 2009 or Microsoft BizTalk Server 2006 R2 on a two-node Windows Server failover cluster. Additionally, you configure a BizTalk host as a cluster resource.

  • One node of the cluster goes offline because the node is powered off or because the network connection is lost.

  • You try to refresh the BizTalk Server Group Hub page in the BizTalk Server Administration console.

In this scenario, it takes a very long time to refresh the BizTalk Server Group Hub page.

Resolution

Cumulative update information

For BizTalk Server 2009, the hotfix that resolves this issue is included in Cumulative Update 1 for BizTalk Server 2009.
