Symptoms
Consider the following scenario:

You have a computer that is running Windows 8 or Windows Server 2012.
-
The computer has a universal serial bus (USB) 2.0 port with hardware-controlled USB 2.0 Link Power Management (LPM) enabled.
-
You attach a USB 3.0 device to the USB 2.0 port.
In this scenario, the USB 3.0 device does not function correctly. For example, the device does not appear in Device Manager or any relevant application.
This problem affects the following devices:

Hotfix information

The dates and the times for these files on your local computer are displayed in your local time together with your current daylight saving time (DST) bias. Additionally, the dates and the times may change when you perform certain operations on the files.
