KB2915611 - FIX: Left Arrow key does not work in Expression Editor of SSDT for Visual Studio 2012

Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You have Microsoft SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT) - Business Intelligence for Microsoft Visual Studio 2012 installed on a computer.
  • You try to edit an expression of a report by opening the Expression Editor in SSDT.
  • You press the Left Arrow key.

In this scenario, there is no response after you press the Left Arrow key.

Resolution

The issue was first fixed in the following cumulative update of SQL Server.

Cumulative Update 1 for SQL Server 2014 /en-us/help/2931693
