Hotfix Package 1 for Microsoft Bitlocker Administration and Monitoring 2.5

This article describes a hotfix package that contains the latest hotfix for Microsoft BitLocker Administration and Monitoring (MBAM) 2.5. Check out the details of the issue and the prerequisites of this hotfix.

Symptoms

When a computer has the MBAM 2.5 client installed and is encrypted by using the AES 256-bit with Diffuser cipher strength, the MBAM client is reported as noncompliant in the MBAM compliance reports.

How to install the hotfix

The hotfix can be installed by using one of the following methods.

Method 1: Follow the installation wizard

Double-click the hotfix and complete the installation wizard.

MBAM2.5-Client-KB2975636.exe /acceptEula=Yes /quiet

MBAM2.5-Client-KB2975636.exe /acceptEula=Yes /extract <path to extract MSP>

msiexec /update <path to the extracted MSP> /quiet
