Symptoms

Consider the following scenario:

  • You use non-English editions, such as Chinese edition, of Microsoft SharePoint 2013 and Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or Microsoft SQL Server 2014.
  • You install Microsoft Silverlight on your computer.
  • You open a PowerView report on the SharePoint website, and export the report to a PowerPoint file.
  • You open the PowerPoint file in slider show mode (Full-Screen Mode).

In this scenario, the slides of the exported PowerPoint file are blank.

Resolution

This issue was first fixed in the following cumulative update of SQL Server.
