Summary

This security update resolves a vulnerability in Windows. The vulnerability could allow remote code execution if an attacker successfully convinces a user to browse to a specially crafted website or open a specially crafted file.

  • After you install this security update, some systems that use the Japanese input method editor (IME) may become unresponsive. Also, Windows Explorer may crash.
