Symptoms

You configure a server that's running Microsoft SQL Server 2014 to host a Master Data Service database. When you request the Service Broker Statistics report for the database, you may receive an error message that resembles the following:

Unable to retrieve data for this section of the report. Following error occurred.
Msg 102, Level 15, State 1
Incorrect syntax near ‘/’.

To request the Service Broker Statistics report, follow these steps:

  1. Start SQL Server Management Studio.
  2. Right-click the Master Data Services database in Object Explorer.
  3. Click Reports, click Standard Reports, and then click Service Broker Statistics.
