This article describes an issue in which the system crashes with "0x1E" Stop error when you restart or shut down a computer that is running Windows 8.1, Windows RT 8.1, or Windows Server 2012 R2. Before you install this update, see the Prerequisites section.
Symptoms
This issue occurs after you set mirrored software redundant array of independent disks (RAID) on the disks.
