The Me Tile

Explore the Me Tile—the home screen on your Microsoft Band and your gateway to the stats and info you care about most. Learn how to get around and how to personalize your Band.

Get to other tiles

Step 1: On your Band, press the power button.
Step 2: On the Me Tile, swipe left to see the rest of your tiles.


View daily quick stats

To get a quick view of your daily health and activity stats:

  • From the Me Tile, do either of the following:
    • Press the action button to cycle quickly through your distance, steps, stairs climbed, and calories burned stats and to see your current heart rate.
    • Tap the Me Tile and drag it left to see your stats and progress toward your daily goals:
Steps icon
Shows the total number of steps you’ve taken today.

Stairs climbed icon
Shows the number of flights of stairs you’ve climbed today.
Distance icon
Shows the distance you’ve traveled today.
Calories burned icon
Shows the number of calories you’ve burned today.

Maximum heart rate icon
Heart Rate
Shows your current heart rate if the heart rate monitor is on.

View the status bar

  • Drag the Me Tile to the right, and you’ll see the status bar.
  • Drag right to see status icons
Here’s what the icons on the status bar mean:
Battery charging icon
Shows the battery status and level of charge on your Microsoft Band.
You’ll see the plug on the battery status icon only when your Band is charging.
Maximum heart rate icon
If the heart is visible, the heart rate monitor is on.
