This article describes update 4011219 for Microsoft PowerPoint 2016 that was released on November 7, 2017. This update has a prerequisite. Improvements and fixes
This update fixes the following issue:
When you copy from an Information Rights Management (IRM) protected document in another Office application and then open the Paste Special dialog box in PowerPoint 2016, PowerPoint 2016 may crash, or nothing happens.
This update also includes the following improvements:

Improves the translation for the status text that occurs in the Compress Media dialog box when compressing media is finished for the German version of PowerPoint 2016.

The multi-selection function now works properly in the Edit Links to Files dialog box for all languages.
