In Windows 10 Pro, Windows 10 Enterprise, Windows 10 Education, and Windows 10 S, you can defer upgrades to your PC. When you defer upgrades, new Windows features won’t be downloaded or installed for several months. Deferring upgrades doesn’t affect security updates, but it does prevent you from getting the latest Windows features as soon as they're available.
- Select the Start button, then select Settings > Update & Security > Windows Update .
- Under Update settings, select Advanced options.
- Select Defer upgrades. (Note: If your PC is managed by an organization, you may not be able to defer upgrades.)
