View a printer's print queue in Windows

Windows 11 Windows 10Viewing a printer's print queue allows viewing of pending print jobs and items waiting to print on the printer. To view a printer's print queue:

Right-click on the Start menu and then select Settings > Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners .Open Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners
Or Select the following Bluetooth & devices > Printers & scanners shortcut: -
In the Bluetooth & devices > Printers & Scanners window, select the printer whose print queue needs to be viewed.

In the Bluetooth & devices > Printers & Scanners > <Printer> window, select Open print queue.

The Print Queue window opens and displays a list of the pending print jobs waiting to print on the printer. If there are no items in the list, there are no pending print jobs waiting to print.
Tip: To verify that the correct printer's print queue is being viewed, in the Print Queue window select the Printers drop-down menu and make sure the desired printer is selected. If desired, print queues of other printers can also be viewed by selecting them from the Printers drop-down menu.
Support for Windows 10 will end in October 2025
After October 14, 2025, Microsoft will no longer provide free software updates from Windows Update, technical assistance, or security fixes for Windows 10. Your PC will still work, but we recommend moving to Windows 11.
