You can spend money in your Microsoft account to buy various products, services, software and content from the Microsoft Store. 

  • Products include Xbox, Surface, phones, PCs and accessories
  • Content includes some apps, games, movies, and TV shows.

Note

  • Money in your Microsoft account can't be used to shop at Microsoft Store retail locations, or to get cash, gift certificates, or similar payment products, except when required by law.
  • Only Xbox subscriptions can be bought with a Gift Card.
  • Gift cards cannot be used to buy hardware in Taiwan.
