Your browsing history includes sites you've visited, passwords, info you've entered into forms, and cookies. Microsoft Edge remembers this info and stores in on your PC as you browse the web. If you use Cortana, she also stores some info in the cloud.
- To view your browsing history, select Favorites , and then History. To delete it from your PC, select Clear history. Under Clear browsing data, choose what you want to remove, and then select Clear.
- If you use Cortana and want to clear info that she stores in the cloud, select Change what Microsoft Edge knows about me in the cloud, sign in with your Microsoft account and verify your account (if needed). On the Privacy dashboard, choose Activity history > Clear activity > Clear.
Note: You can automatically delete your browsing data when you close the browser. Turn on the toggle for Always clear this when I close the browser.
