This article describes update 4032230 for Microsoft Office 2016 that was released on January 2, 2019.

When you open an Office 2016 application that has multiple add-ins started, you can't start some new add-ins and receive the following error message:
This add-in could not be started. Close this dialog to ignore the problem or click "Restart" to try again.
