Symptoms
When you use the Up Arrow key in conversation history in Microsoft Skype for Business 2016, the selection is moved to the bottom of the conversation history window, and a most visible message is selected as soon as the window scrolls up.
Resolution
To fix this issue, install the November 7, 2017, update (KB4011238) for Skype for Business 2016.
