Symptoms
Assume that you use the new PREDICT Transact-SQL function that's introduced in SQL Server 2017 on Windows. When you concurrently execute multiple PREDICT functions, a deadlock might occur.
Resolution
This issue is fixed in the following cumulative update for SQL Server:
