Improvements and fixes
This security update includes quality improvements. No new operating system features are introduced in this update. Key changes include:
- Security updates to Windows SMB Server, Windows Kernel, Windows Datacenter Networking, and Windows Graphics.

Known issues in this update
When calling CoInitializeSecurity, the call fails if passing RPC_C_IMP_LEVEL_NONE under certain conditions.
When calling CoInitializeSecurity, the call may fail if passing RPC_C_AUTHN_LEVEL_NONE as the authentication level. The error message that's returned on the failure is: STATUS_BAD_IMPERSONATION_LEVEL.
This issue is resolved in KB4057401.

Contact your antivirus manufacturer to verify that their software is compatible and that they have set the following REGKEY on the computer:

Microsoft is working together with AMD to resolve this issue as soon as possible and resume Windows OS security updates to the affected AMD devices through Windows Update and WSUS.
