This article describes an update that makes daylight saving time (DST) and time zone changes in Windows for the Kingdom of Morocco and Volgograd Oblast, Russia. Before you install this update, see the Prerequisites section.

The Kingdom of Morocco now remains permanently set to UTC+01:00 instead of following an earlier plan to return to UTC+00:00 on October 28, 2018.

Volgograd

Volgograd Oblast, Russia, permanently switched from UTC+03:00 to UTC+04:00 on October 28, 2018. Customers can now switch to the new time zone for Volgograd, which is displayed as (UTC+04:00) Volgograd.

Additional time zone changes

The following time zone name change was made because of the creation of the Volgograd time zone. Customers in Moscow, St. Petersburg, and other parts of Russia that are covered by this time zone do not have to take any action. The time zone name will change automatically.
